Access & Viewing
When are sessions happening, and how long are they available?
Each day of the Fest includes a mix of pre-recorded and live sessions.
Presentations go live each day at 3 pm CET (9 AM ET) and can be watched for free for 24 hours after they go live.
After that, you’ll need the All Access Pass to keep watching.
What time zone are the sessions in?
All live sessions take place in CET (Central European Time) and are also listed in EDT (Eastern Time) for convenience.

Where can I find the presentation links?
Daily links will be posted in the event community in Circle each morning, and you’ll also receive them via email.
Can I watch replays of the live sessions?
Yes! All sessions will have replays available for 24 hours after they go live. Please allow a couple of hours after the end of the live session for us to upload. Also note that replays of live sessions during the Fest will not include closed captions. After the live session ends they’ll be added to the All Access Pass area within 48 hours and include closed captions and transcripts.
Registration, Tech & Tools
Do I need to register for each session separately?
Nope — once you’re registered for the Fest, you’re in for all sessions. Just use the daily links to join.
Do I need to download anything to participate?
Nope! Live sessions happen via Zoom. You can join directly in your browser or through the Zoom app (just make sure it’s updated beforehand).
What if I’m having trouble accessing the sessions?
Try refreshing the page, clearing your browser cache, or switching browsers.
If it’s still not working, email [email protected] and we’ll help you out.
What tools do I need for the Fest?
Most sessions are demonstrations or talks, so you can simply watch, learn, and take notes.
Speakers will share what they use during their sessions.
If you’d like to print along, you can use your favorite tools and blocks — or, if you’re new to block printing, start with:
- Lino carving tools (Speedball, ABIG, or Pfeil)
- Soft carving material (SpeedyCarve, Factis, or lino)
- Ink pads or block printing ink with brayer & plate
- Paper (even printer paper works!)
- Craft knife, tracing paper, pencil & eraser

Do I need to print along live or have prior experience?
Not at all! 🙌 You can watch first and print later at your own pace.
And if you’re new to block printing, several beginner-friendly sessions will walk you through the basics step by step.
I’m not receiving the emails about the Fest.

Event Experience
Will there be replays in the event Circle community?
Live sessions happen on Zoom, but the event community in Circle is where you’ll find daily updates, engagement threads, and giveaways.
How can I connect with other attendees?
Make sure you’re in the event community in Circle where you can jump into the daily threads, share your projects, and introduce yourself in the welcome post!

Can I share screenshots or take notes?
Absolutely! We love seeing what you’re learning — just tag #BlockPrintingFest and the speakers when you share on social media.
Is there a hashtag I can use on social media?
When you post on Instagram, please tag the host Ali @3dottedpenguins and the speaker(s) from the session.
You can also add @blockprintingfest as a collaborator on your post — that way, we can share your takeaways and showcase your beautiful prints with the world!
Can I share my work in the event community in Circle?
Yes, absolutely — please do! 🙌
We love seeing your progress, wins, and creative experiments. Feel free to post photos of your work, share what you learned, or tell us about your favorite sessions. This space is all about connection and celebration — every share helps inspire others, too!
